Sierra passes $400M in annual recurring revenue
The enterprise AI agent startup says it added more than $150 million in ARR in one quarter and now works with almost half of the Fortune 50.

Sierra says its annual recurring revenue has passed $400 million after the enterprise AI agent company added more than $150 million in a single quarter. The figure is self-reported and has not been independently audited, but it is one of the clearest signs yet that AI agents for customer service and business operations are becoming a large software market.
The company says its pace is accelerating: it took six months to rise from $100 million to $200 million in ARR, then five months to double again. Sierra also says it now works with almost half of the Fortune 50.
Sierra sells AI agents that handle customer interactions and business workflows. Its commercial pitch differs from token-based model pricing: customers pay for completed outcomes, such as refinancing a loan, resolving an insurance claim, closing a sale or retaining a customer.
The company attributes part of its growth to faster deployment. It says a large US retailer with more than $40 billion in revenue went from its first meeting with Sierra to a live agent in 27 days using the Ghostwriter development system.
Sierra is also developing Poppy, an open standard for controlling how personal AI agents interact with brands. More than 50 companies are involved, including Meta, Shopify, Stripe and Walmart. Together, the revenue figure and customer list suggest enterprise agents are moving beyond pilots into measurable production budgets.
