Armadin raises 255.5M USD for autonomous AI security
The cybersecurity startup says a16z and Accel co-led the Series B, valuing it above 2.5B USD as enterprises prepare for faster AI-driven attacks.
Armadin has raised 255.5M USD in Series B funding to scale its autonomous cybersecurity platform, bringing its valuation above 2.5B USD. The round was co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and Accel, with Bain Capital Ventures and Redpoint joining as new investors. Existing backers including Google Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Kleiner Perkins and Menlo Ventures also returned.
The company says its platform runs agentic attack campaigns for Fortune 500 enterprises and government customers, using specialized agents to chain vulnerabilities into validated attack paths. The pitch is that AI compresses the time between vulnerability discovery and exploitation, making periodic penetration tests too slow for critical systems.
The funding is notable because it puts a large valuation on a defensive AI category that is still taking shape: autonomous systems that test enterprise infrastructure the way a skilled attacker would. Armadin says the new capital will go toward its platform, research, training and go-to-market work.
