OpenAI doubles limits for ChatGPT Pro and Business Premium
The company also abandoned a planned reduction for Pro 200, keeping its Work and Codex allowance unchanged.

OpenAI has doubled usage limits for ChatGPT Pro 100, Pro 200, Pro 500 and Business Premium. The change increases the amount of Work and Codex usage available to customers on the company’s highest paid tiers.
Tibo, an OpenAI employee who has been announcing daily product changes, said the company also dropped a planned reduction for Pro 200. Its Work and Codex limits will remain at their previous level instead of being cut, while the other covered tiers receive the larger allowance.
OpenAI will keep offering extended limits for dots for now. Usage by a dot — the company’s proactive agent feature — will continue to be counted separately from a user’s default allowance. That separation matters for people who run recurring agent work alongside ordinary ChatGPT or Codex sessions.
The announcement came from an OpenAI employee’s account rather than a company blog or help-center page, and OpenAI had not yet published a separate documentation update when this article was written. Still, the change is a direct value increase for heavy users and a reversal of a restriction that Pro 200 subscribers had expected.
