Salesforce brings Claude into CRM workflows with Claudeforce
The expanded Anthropic partnership starts with Salesforce in Claude, a plugin with 37 prebuilt sales skills and governed access to Salesforce data and actions.
Salesforce and Anthropic announced Claudeforce, an expanded partnership designed to connect Claude’s reasoning with Salesforce data, business logic, workflow rules and governed actions.
The first product is Salesforce in Claude, a plugin for revenue teams with 37 prebuilt sales skills, including meeting preparation, deal health review and pipeline review. Salesforce says admins can connect it once, with authentication and permissions handled centrally, so sellers can use Claude against live revenue context without a separate per-user setup.
The companies are also deepening Claude’s role inside Salesforce products. Salesforce says Claude is available in Agentforce, powers Slackbot by default, supports Claude Tag in Slack, and is used across Claude Code in Salesforce’s engineering organization. Claude is also described as the first LLM provider fully integrated within the Salesforce Trust Boundary through Amazon Bedrock.
For buyers, the signal is not another chatbot button inside CRM. Salesforce is trying to make Claude an interface for enterprise data and actions while keeping the deterministic guardrails of the CRM system in charge. Reuters also reported that Salesforce raised its annual revenue and profit forecasts, with the announcement landing alongside stronger investor confidence in its AI product momentum.
