Kimi can now operate Blender and game engines to build 3D projects

3D Make lets the agent create models, assemble scenes and develop playable prototypes across web and local professional tools.

Moonshot AI has launched 3D Make in Kimi, expanding the assistant from chat and coding into 3D modeling, scene assembly and game creation. The feature is available in Kimi.ai and Kimi Work.

Kimi can write scripts to control Blender and CAD tools, then import the resulting assets into Unity, Unreal Engine or Godot. Moonshot says it specifically trained Kimi K3.1 Pro to operate 3D software through Python, which lets it work with professional applications even when they lack a dedicated model integration.

The workflow chooses between two approaches. For furniture, mechanical parts, buildings and other objects defined by dimensions and rules, Kimi uses parametric modeling. For characters and complex props, it can prepare prompts and reference images for specialized services including Tripo, Meshy and Hyper3D, then combine those assets in a larger scene.

Moonshot’s examples include a printable desk lamp, a procedurally generated building, a miniature city and a playable scene assembled in Unreal Engine. Local software and engine integrations require Kimi Work, while simpler 3D websites and standalone models can be made in the browser.

The launch matters because it moves an AI agent into visual production tools that normally demand specialist skills. Moonshot also cautions that results are not reliably one-shot: complex projects still need references, inspection and several rounds of refinement.
