Introducing Workflows in Grok Build

Grok Build has introduced workflows, enabling users to automate complex, multi-phase tasks by orchestrating hundreds of parallel agents. Users describe a large task in plain language, and Grok Build plans and distributes the work across agents running in the background. The system verifies each agent’s output through independent checks before synthesizing a final report. Workflows are ideal for tasks that involve many independent parts and require a consolidated result, such as reviewing large pull requests, triaging numerous issues, or auditing codebases for specific bugs. Each workflow run can use up to 128 agents, with larger jobs supported by up to 1,024 agents. Progress is saved continuously, allowing users to pause and resume without losing completed work. Grok Build automatically generates and improves workflow scripts based on user requests, so users do not need to write scripts manually. Saved workflows are stored locally or shared with teams, and each becomes a custom slash command for easy reuse. Examples include multi-agent GitHub PR reviews and parallel research investigations with verified claims. This feature streamlines complex task management by combining automation, verification, and reporting in one background process.
