xAI has launched Build Mode, a new feature integrated with Grok that enables users to create websites, apps, games, and interactive dashboards directly from text descriptions. Available in Early Beta for SuperGrok Heavy subscribers on grok.com, iOS, and Android, Build Mode allows users to describe their ideas and see a working version built live within their chat interface. Users can modify layouts, add features, and restyle elements without needing to write or configure code manually. Examples of projects created with Build Mode include a peaceful 3D driving game set in an endless forest, an isometric city simulation with a live economy, a 3D physics playground with adjustable parameters, and a browser-based beat machine with various music kits and controls. The tool supports creating websites such as landing pages and portfolios, functional apps like planners and calculators, games including arcade racers and puzzles, and interactive dashboards that integrate live data. Once completed, projects can be published to a grok.me link or a custom domain for easy sharing. Build Mode requires no installation and is accessible via the mode switcher on supported platforms.
