Anthropic launches Claude Design for prototypes and decks

Anthropic has launched Claude Design, a beta product that lets Claude turn a prompt into visual work such as prototypes, decks and one-pagers. The company says the feature is included for Claude Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise subscribers.

The pitch is straightforward: a user describes what they need, Claude produces a draft, and the user can keep refining it or hand work off to other tools, including Claude Code. Anthropic describes the product as early, with frequent improvements expected.

This matters because Claude is moving beyond chat and code into a more direct creative workflow. Instead of asking a model for copy, layout ideas or implementation steps separately, users can start with a rough design artifact and iterate from there. That puts Claude closer to tools used for product mockups, lightweight presentations and internal one-pagers, while keeping the user in control of the final design.
