Snap turns Specs AR glasses into an enterprise AI device

Salesforce, Nvidia and AWS will plug agents, visual AI and voice assistance into Snap’s 2,195 USD glasses.

Snap is turning its Specs augmented-reality glasses into a workplace AI device, with Salesforce, Nvidia and Amazon Web Services among the first partners named for the enterprise push.

Reuters reports that Salesforce will bring Agentforce into Specs so workers can access company data and automate tasks through the glasses. Nvidia is set to power visual AI that interprets what a worker is seeing and retrieves relevant business context, while AWS will add voice-driven assistance for operational tasks such as checking inventory.

The move matters because Snap is trying to find a practical market for AR glasses before the category becomes a pure consumer fight with Meta and Apple. The company is positioning Specs for hands-free work in factories, retail, field service and other settings where employees may not be sitting at a desktop.

Specs were introduced with a 2,195 USD price tag, and Snap has said shipments are expected in the United States, the United Kingdom and France. Financial terms for the partnerships were not disclosed.
