Anthropic is fighting a Claude outage across its main AI tools

Anthropic says Claude is experiencing elevated errors across multiple models, and its official status page now lists major outages for claude.ai, the Claude API, Claude Code and Claude Cowork. Claude Console and Claude for Government are still listed as operational.

The company says it has identified the issue and is working on a fix. For users, the practical takeaway is simple: Claude may be unreliable across both the consumer app and developer workflows until Anthropic resolves the incident.
