Google Cloud brings Gemini Enterprise deeper into Verizon

Verizon will use Google Cloud’s AI stack across customer experience, network operations, marketing, security, and employee workflows.

Google Cloud announced a strategic partnership with Verizon to expand the telecom company’s use of Google’s full AI stack, including Gemini Enterprise, data infrastructure, and agent-building tools.

The companies say Verizon will use Gemini Enterprise in customer experience, network operations, marketing, cloud security, and employee productivity. Google Cloud also describes itself as a data platform partner for Verizon’s autonomous network intelligence work, where AI is meant to predict and resolve network anomalies before customers feel them.

The announcement is partly a big-enterprise cloud deal, not a consumer product launch. Still, it is a useful signal for where agentic AI is moving first at scale: contact centers, internal operations, marketing workflows, and infrastructure monitoring. For Google Cloud, Verizon is another flagship customer for Gemini Enterprise after a string of industry-specific deployments.
